Biography

Bimal Subedi is a prominent theatre and film artist who is known for his thought-proving plays, interactive designs, and acting, theatre and film coach/teacher in Nepal.

Founder and Artistic Director of Theatre Village Nepal, he has specialized in theatre techniques, design and direction from the prestigious National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi, India.

Throughout his career, Subedi has worked with many eminent directors, designers, art managers from around the world and produced several critically acclaimed plays. He has also contributed to training various popular actors, directors and artists of Nepal.

His plays have been staged in many prestigious international theatre festivals like Southbank Centre (London), Bharat Rang Mahotsav (India), and international theatre festivals in Pakistan, China, Belgium, and Germany, among others.

He has directed many acclaimed plays such as Palpasa Café, Sabiti, Sandaju Ko Mahabharat, Malini, Makai Ko Arkai Kheti, and Charumati. Through these works, he explores social, cultural, and political narratives that challenge audiences and inspire dialogue.
